In this interactive workshop we ask, “What would our strategies and initiatives for strengthening learning conditions for students experiencing poverty be if they were based, not on simplistic stereotypes, but on deep understandings of the barriers and inequities weighing on them in and out of school?" After a process of building these, we will explore instructional, relational and leadership strategies. These strategies are grounded in evidence for what works as well as a commitment to equity.
