• Are you having the impact you want? • Do you feel the way you want? • Do people follow you (collaborate, work with you) because you’re the “boss” or because they want to? • Are you creating the culture you want? • Are you aligning to your values? The key to a resounding “Yes” response to these questions is in how you show up. Through your experience in this workshop, you’ll learn how to manage your energy so you can be more fully present for your life. You'll gain practical strategies for Your ability to lead your energy, increase your stamina, and manage your “vibe” intentionally has a direct impact on your ability to positively influence others and create results for the things you care about. Are you leading from the lens of strengths? Are you spending more time focusing on what you’ve got rather than what you’re not? The concept of strengths-based development means much more than simply taking an assessment. It’s an entire philosophy for how you lead, manage, teach, learn, and grow. In successful strengths-based organizations, individuals understand their talents and leaders build on team strengths while managing around weaknesses. During the workshop, participants will: • Understand strengths-based development and why focusing on areas of talent leads to improved productivity and performance outcomes. • Understand your strengths profile and how to apply the results toward desired performance goals. • Explore the developmental potential of each talent theme and what each theme brings and needs. • Learn how to leverage your strengths in working relationships with staff, students, and parents and move from awareness of talents to appreciation and application of strengths. Participants will complete Gallup’s CliftonStrengths (aka StrengthsFinder) assessment prior to attending the session (by Sept. 5). The workshop will include presentation, video, small and large group discussion, and be highly interactive in nature. Facilitator: Traci McCausland, SHRM-SCP, Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach Read more

Many of our students walk into our schools carrying significant amounts of adversity and trauma. In this workshop, gain relational and brain aligned strategies and discipline that up-regulate positive emotions while down-regulating the negative and toxic experiences and feelings students may bring to school. Through an educators lens, explore a framework of applied educational neuroscience which is built into our procedures, routines, and transitions throughout the school day. In this framework, recognize the critical role of the administrator in working alongside both staff and students to address the social, emotional and cognitive needs of the entire student body and staff.
