Harvard Team leads Iowa Superintendents' Network Learning

On April 29, approximately 100 Superintendents' Network members met with a team from Harvard University to deepen their understanding of the instructional rounds process and foundational concepts. Content included the instructional core, theory of action and problems of practice. Throughout the day, network members had many opportunities to share their experiences and learn from each other. The Harvard team included three authors of the book Instructional Rounds in Education, Elizabeth City, Richard Elmore and Lee Teitel. Each area education agency sponsors a Superintendents' Network, supported by the AEA statewide system and The Wallace Foundation.
