Helen Snell of Maquoketa is the 2010 Central Office Administrator of the Year

A committee of central office administrators selected Helen Snell, director of curriculum and school improvement at Maquoketa, as the 2010 Iowa Central Office Administrator of the Year.

In the May issue of the SAI Report, Helen shares how the Maquoketa district makes time for professional development as well as how it's executed to make the most of the time available. Four additional Administrator of the Year award recipients also share their insight on education leadership questions in the May newsletter. 

The 2010 Administrators of the Year recipients and nominees will be recognized at the August 3, 2010, SAI Awards Banquet. Banquet information will be available in the August Conference brochure to be mailed in May.
