New learning to fulfill evaluator training requirement

As many school districts struggle to recruit and retain top talent and ensure equitable access to excellent educators, schools need knowledgeable and skilled human capital professionals now more than ever. In education, “human capital is the largest single investment PK–12 districts make... As such, the corps of instructional staff represents the most expensive lever districts employ to influence student outcomes. This has obvious and significant implications for educational budgets, but also gives districts powerful incentives to ensure that this lever (i.e., instructional staff) functions both efficiently and effectively.”1

Join Battelle for Kids’ Tony Bagshaw to explore the following topics:
• Strategies to address talent shortages and educator equity
• Human capital management systems
• Leading 21st Century Skills
• Planning and continuous improvement tools

Requirements for credit (which includes Evaluator Approval):
• Full attendance and participation on both days
• Completion of 5 hours of online training via Battelle for Kid’s learning management system, some of which will be pre-work in preparation for the face-to-face with the remainder to be completed afterward
This course satisfies requirements for Evaluator Approval and is worth one licensure renewal credit.
