Two Members Elected to SAI Executive CommitteeApril 26, 2017
Rick Varney, principal at John Cline Elementary School in Decorah, and Jeanette Hartung-Schroeder, elementary principal and curriculum director at Bellevue, were recently elected to the SAI Executive Committee. SAI members voted for Varney to serve a four-year term on the Executive Committee, initially as vice president, beginning September 1, 2017. Elementary principals on the SAI Representative Council selected Hartung-Schroeder for the two-year term representing their administrative level on the committee. She will begin serving in that role September 1. The Executive Committee is the organization's administrative body to facilitate the operation of the Association and its staff. It meets 10 times each year.
