SAI Licensure Renewal Credit

Workshops
Starting September 2017, you will be able to “mix and match” three of any qualifying SAI workshops for one licensure renewal credit. This includes any legal offerings or other workshops. Within your five-year renewal period, you will be able to create multiple combinations (3 workshops = 1 credit). For example, you could attend three qualifying events in 2017-18 for a credit, and/or you could attend one qualifying event per year over the next three years.

District Meetings

The 2021-22 school year was the final opportunity to earn credit through district meetings. Any four district meetings from September 2017 to April 2022 can be bundled for credit.  

Note: district meetings cannot be bundled for credit with other events listed above.

Events qualifying for one credit

March 9 & 23, April 6 & 27, May 4 & 11, 2021 -  Creating Capacity to Lead for Equity - earn one licensure renewal credit for participating in all six sessions.

May 6 & 7, 2021 - New Standards for School Leaders: Building Capacity for Effective Superintendent Implementation - earn one licensure renewal credit that includes Evaluator Approval certification.

Evaluator Approval 2019

Human Capital Systems to Support 21st Century Learning was offered for Evaluator Approval June 10 & 11, 2019. Requirements for credit (which includes Evaluator Approval):

Full attendance and participation on both days 

This course also includes an online learning module that requires 3-5 hours to complete.

Participants earned 1 licensure renewal credit that includes Evaluator Approval certification.
