Event Details

We help leaders new to their roles navigate their responsibilities, strengthen their leadership identity, and build confidence in their ability to make a positive impact.

Make the Most of Your Mentee Experience

To maximize the benefits of the program and satisfy requirements outlined under § chapter 284A.5, make plans with your mentor to:

  • attend statewide meetings together;
  • participate in weekly conversations;
  • meet face-to-face (or virtually) each month to allow for extended conversation and reflection; and
  • visit each other's schools at least once throughout the year;

Meeting Dates

  • Thursday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — location TBD
  • Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 1-3 p.m. — virtual
  • Thursday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — location TBD
  • Tuesday, March 9 from 9-11 a.m. — virtual

Registration Fee

(If you're registering someone other than yourself, please make sure you enter the new administrator's name in the Attendee field.)
The district pays $600 to SAI for each new administrator participating in the program. The fee underwrites expenses associated with the identified components of the program. An invoice will be generated upon registration.

Program Agreement
Reminder that a Program Agreement approved and signed by the district should also be submitted to SAI.
