SAI members are invited to attend a FREE 403b and IPERS Planning Meeting with Kyle Goerdt, Spencer Reed, and Ryan Bosch from Bosch Financial / Equitable, an SAI platinum corporate partner. This session will take place at virtually and will cover important details about the IPERS Pension and the 403(b) plan for IPERS employees.
Topics include:

Meet the Facilitators
Spencer Reed
Spencer joined Bosch Financial Inc. in 2021 and has been a Financial Consultant with Equitable since March 2018. Spencer grew up in Oskaloosa, Iowa where he graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1996, then attended Marshalltown Community College and played baseball for the Tigers. Spencer went on to attend the College of Oceaneering in San Pedro, CA, and worked as a commercial diver before returning to school and earning a degree in Geography from University of Iowa.
Spencer chose Bosch Financial and Equitable because there is a culture of learning, teaching, and leading. Spencer's goal was to work with industry leaders, this includes colleagues and clients. He feels privileged to serve the best learners and leaders. Spencer provides comprehensive financial analyses with a concentration on pension planning and tax-effective savings strategies for educators and business owners. Spencer is passionate about providing solutions for his client's situation and creating strategies that align with his client's unique values, beliefs, and goals.
Spencer lives in Cedar Rapids with his wife, Virginia, and their two daughters, Veda, and Jovi. They enjoy hiking in the woods, reading books, and riding bikes together.
Kyle Goerdt
Kyle began his financial service career in 2019 as a financial consultant with Equitable Advisors. He graduated in May of that year from the University of Northern Iowa with a double major in Financial Management and Business Administration. He currently holds his FINRA Series 7, Series 66, and Life and Health Insurance Licenses. While he works with all sorts of individuals, Kyle’s career primarily focuses on helping educators and other Iowa Public Employees to prepare for retirement through 403b planning and helping to manage their IPERS benefits. Kyle holds the Certified Retirement Education Specialist (CRES) certification through the National Tax Deferred Savings Association (NTSA). He also is a credentialed "Holistic Financial Coach" through Colombia University.
Kyle became a partner with Bosch Financial in December 2023, joining Chad Bosch, Ryan Bosch, Joby Frey, and Spencer Reed. Kyle’s main focus is helping IPERS employees plan for their pension and enjoy a successful retirement. He takes pride in helping clients input solutions to achieve their goals and dreams, short term and long term. He enjoys working with clients at every step in the financial planning journey, whether they are just starting out, retiring soon, or have already retired. Kyle is actively involved in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and a member of the local chapter board.
Kyle currently resides in Cedar Rapids with his wife Ellen and their three children, Lucy, Charlie, and George. When Kyle is not in the office, he enjoys golfing, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. He is an avid Hawkeye and Broncos fan!
Ryan Bosch
Ryan joined the financial services business in September 2001 after graduating from Mount Mercy College with a Degree in Business Management. He is a Partner at Bosch Financial, Inc. where we share over 60 years of combined experience, with a focus on IPERS employees & 403b planning.
Ryan has a passion for focusing on positive energy and high activity; taking great pride in the work he does with individuals, families, and businesses. Gaining trust while implementing creative plans to allow his clients to achieve their dreams. Ryan also serves on several boards and committees in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He loves supporting the local community in any way he can.
He and his wife Athena have a son Maison, who works for Johnson Controls in Omaha, NE, and a daughter Ainsley, a student in the Cedar Rapids Community School District. They enjoy traveling, golfing, camping, family movie nights, spending time with extended family, and supporting many sports teams.
