Nov. 3, Nov. 17, and Dec. 1 from 4-5 p.m.
Join a community of building and district leaders considering the transition to the superintendency. Through three interactive video conferencing (Zoom) sessions, you will begin to build a network among other aspiring superintendents while exploring whether stepping into district-wide leadership is the right next step for your career. Grounded in SAI’s framework for finding optimal leadership roles, this series will help you examine the critical mindset shift required to lead an entire educational system.
Together, we will evaluate your personal and professional readiness to "make the jump," navigate the high visibility and unique emotional strain of executive decision-making, and reflect on personal and family timing. You will also gain practical strategies for evaluating district fit—from organizational culture, board relations, and district financial health to community expectations—and preparing high-impact executive credentials.

Additional session focus topics will be determined by the group based upon interest, need, and timing.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for current superintendents, central office administrators, and school boards to encourage or nudge a strong leader within your school or district to consider the role of a superintendent.
