Free Webinar Hosted by Port Nexus!

As you finalize district budgets before April 30, safety alignment remains a top priority. But how do you reconcile district safety planning with emerging county-wide coordination models?

Join SAI for a live, 60-minute panel discussion featuring experts from Port Nexus, Intrusion, an Iowa sheriff, and a school superintendent who can share about a district-configured emergency notification and response system called MyFlare Alert. We are moving beyond theory to discuss the practical realities of integrating school safety with county infrastructure.

Meet the Panel

  • The Law Enforcement Perspective: Gain clarity on the "First Minute" response gap and how sheriff departments are optimizing real-time coordination, including Anchor Schools.
  • The District Perspective: A superintendent shares their experience with evaluating the operational, fiscal, and governance considerations of this framework.
  • The Technical Perspective: Representatives from Port Nexus explain the MyFlare Alert solution and the realities of security, privacy, and role-based access.

What You Will Gain:

  • Implementation Pathways: Realistic timelines and requirements to consider before your April 30 budget finalization.
  • Governance Guidance: How to address board questions regarding safety alignment, privacy, and long-term contracts.
  • Direct Access: A dedicated Q&A segment to get your specific questions answered by the people actually doing this work.

This webinar is designed to provide superintendents and district leaders with clarity as they evaluate safety alignment decisions during the current fiscal planning window.

Tony ScottTony Scott, Intrusion

Prior to joining Intrusion, Inc. Tony was CEO of the TonyScottGroup, LLC., a Washington DC and Silicon Valley based consulting and venture capital firm, focused on early stage cybersecurity and privacy technologies. Prior to founding the TonyScottGroup in 2017, Tony served in the Obama administration as the Federal Chief Information Officer (Federal CIO) for the U.S. Government, and was appointed to that role by President Obama in February 2015. In that role, he had oversight, budget and management responsibilities for the more than $85 billion that the Federal Government annually spends on IT. In that capacity, he and his team managed the government wide response plan after the OPM cybersecurity incident, including the Cybersecurity Sprint and Implementation Plan (CSIP), which dramatically improved the information systems security posture of the Federal Government.
