Jen Vance of Central DeWitt is Iowa Central Office Administrator of the Year

Jen Vance, assistant superintendent at Central DeWitt Community School District, has been named the 2024 Central Office Administrator of the Year by the School Administrators of Iowa.

“Congratulations to Jen Vance for being selected as the SAI Central Office Administrator of the Year! Jen is an exceptional leader. She has led multiple initiatives at the district level and does so by providing the vision, collaborating and supporting staff along the way. Jen truly cares about those around her, and this shows by the environment she has created,” said SAI Executive Director Lisa Remy.

Vance has been in her current role since 2017 and began her career as a teacher in the Pleasant Valley Community School District. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science teaching from Buena Vista University, a master’s in educational leadership from Drake University, and an advanced studies certificate in superintendency from the University of Northern Iowa.

A committee of Iowa central office administrators selected Vance, and she will be recognized at the association’s Annual Conference in August.
